JUPITER, Fla. — A months-long sex trafficking investigation has ensnared the billionaire owner of the Super Bowl champion New England Patriots.

  • Florida police issue warrant for Patriots owner Robert Kraft
  • He's accused of soliciting prostitution at Jupiter, Florida massage parlor
  • Kraft owns home in Palm Beach, frequently visits Trump's Mar-a-Lago

Jupiter Police said Friday they've issued an arrest warrant for Patriots owner Robert Kraft. He hasn't been arrested yet. They say he will be charged with misdemeanor prostitution solicitation.

Chief Daniel Kerr confirmed that Kraft, who is worth $6 billion and has owned the Patriots since January 1994, was one of 25 people charged in a months-long sting.

"He is being charged with the same offenses as the others, and that is soliciting another to commit prostitution," Kerr said during a news conference.

"We are as equally stunned as everyone else."

Police said they have the 77-year-old Kraft on video paying for a sex act at an illicit massage parlor. They have not said when or what services Kraft paid for but said he visited Orchids of Asia twice.

"We categorically deny that Mr. Kraft engaged in any illegal activity. Because it is a judicial matter, we will not be commenting further," a spokesman for Kraft told Spectrum News.

About 200 arrest warrants have been issued in recent days amid the sting, which stretches from Palm Beach to Orlando. Police said more can be expected.

According to NFL policy, NFL employees and owners can face punishment for "conduct detrimental to the integrity of and public confidence in" the league.

The Patriots have made 10 Super Bowl appearances and are six-time champions, including this month's Super Bowl LIII in Atlanta.

Kraft owns a home on South Ocean Boulevard in Palm Beach and is a frequent visitor to Mar-a-Lago when President Donald Trump is there.
