It's a process and everyone has to be patient, but RPI Hockey is getting better. The Engineers are 3-3 in ECAC play and getting into conference play this weekend. You have to remember this is a young team that's rebuilding and sometimes that rebuilding process takes part off the ice as well. Head Coach Dave Smith say his staff is witnessing firsts everyday with these guys on and off the ice and we had another one at practice this week. Freshman Jake Johnson is playing big minutes for RPI as are many underclassmen and he's leaning on the veterans to show him the way.
