A teen in Albany that was shot twice in one week is now in critical, but stable condition, according to police.

Albany Police say an 18-year-old was shot in the arm last Monday, just before 5 p.m. near Clinton Ave and Lark Street. Then on Saturday, officers responded to shots fired around 5:30 p.m. near Ontario and Benson Streets.

Shortly after they arrived, Albany Med notified them that a teenager had come into the emergency room with a gunshot wound to the back.

Police determined this was the same teen injured in Monday's shooting.

Both shootings are still being investigated.
