College basketball season is still months away, but the Siena College men's basketball team is back on campus putting in the work for the 2021-22 season.

Tuesday marked the beginning of summer workouts, something they had missed out on a season ago due to COVID-19.

The Saints have a new look this year. Gone are the likes of Jalen Pickett, Jordan King and Manny Camper, three of their top scorers from a season ago.

But Siena has reloaded with nine newcomers, and all eyes are on Northwestern transfer Anthony Gaines. He's impressed Maciariello and the rest of his teammates with his work ethic.

Despite all the fresh faces, the Saints feel they're in a great place.
