Police in Saratoga Springs are investigating an allegation of someone spitting in the face of an elderly man outside the Granite Palace building.

A video began circulating on Facebook Thursday night, allegedly showing the altercation on Broadway where a man sitting on a bench was spit on by an employee at Joseph A. Banks.

It's unclear exactly what lead up to the incident. Authorities say they have already identified the man who was spat on and the employee in question.
