A mistrial was declared in the murder trial of a man accused of killing a 17-year-old on a Cohoes bike path last year.
Thomas Slivienski, 22, was charged with the murder of Johni Dunia on the Mohawk Hudson Bike Trail back in Novembr.
The Albany County District Attorney's Office said a judge declared a mistrial because Slivienski was allegedly injured at jail and cannot contribute to his defense because of his medical condition.
The case is still open and will be rescheduled for a later date.
