Jesse James Breault and Ashley Nicole Bell have been charged after a dead body was found on a Queensbury lawn Friday morning.

This latest news comes according to a Friday evening press release from the Warren County Sheriff's office. The office had previously identified Christopher J. Goss, 36, of Queensbury, as the body found on Meadow Lane.

A police investigation into the incident found Goss was in the area to meet with someone about a "dispute" they were having. The sheriff's office says during the confrontation, Goss was stabbed "multiple" times in the torso.

Two people were then brought in for questioning by investigating officers.

Breault, 25, of Glens Falls, was charged with one count of murder in the second degree, a class A felony. Bell, 29, of Glens Falls, was charged with one count of hindering prosecution in the second degree, a class E felony, and one count of tampering with physical evidence in the second degree, a class E felony.

Both Breault and Bell share the same address, according to the location listed from the press release.

The sheriff's office says Breault and Bell were situated in the Warren County Correctional Facility, waiting to be arraigned on their charges on Saturday at 9 a.m. in Queensbury Town Court.

Prior to the Friday evening press release, we reported a total of 40 investigators from state police, forensics, to the sherrff's office, were part of this investigation.

Warren County Sheriff, Bud York, said a woman called police around 4:30 a.m. Friday, to say someone or something could be on her front lawn.

A tent was put up around the body around 10:30 a.m.

"Scares the living crap out of me to be honest,” said neighbor Staycia Sheerer. “I’ve got four kids in my house right now, and living a normal life, to hearing something like this happen, it puts chills in your body. Like what’s going on around here to have this happen?”

Police were seen searching the property of Rick’s Bike Shop, directly across the street, later Friday afternoon. They had also set up evidence markers in the parking lot.

York had said, prior to the press release, no one was in custody but he remained optimistic there would be an arraignment Friday night. He did confirm the home where the body was found was not connected to the investigation.

"Hopefully by the end of the evening we'll have closure to this. The reason we think it'll be done so quickly is because we have all this manpower from the state police helping us and it has been great. We have a lot of tools here," York said.
