"Vets don't forget vets" was more than just a slogan in Troy on Monday.

William Shuttleworth brought the campaign to the Collar City as he walks across America. He's using his journey to raise awareness about issues affecting servicemen and women.

Shuttleworth is a retired professor and psychologist. He also served during Vietnam in a mental health clinic for returning prisoners of war.

He says homeless veterans make up a quarter of all men who are homeless.

Shuttleworth spent the night at the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity house at RPI. He left his hometown of Newburyport, Mass., last week, and expects to reach the finish line in California by the end of the year.
