Albany firefighters made quick work of a fire in a vacant building on Sherman Street.

The fire broke out just before 8:00 p.m. Fire officials say nobody was hurt, and the weather was a bit more cooperative.

"It was nothing like the other night when it was really frigid,” said Battalion Chief Bill Hummel. “But the snow is always a challenge, but we work as a team and get the job done."

Battalion Chief Hummel says investigators are now working to determine a cause.
