Police say someone opened fire on Lincoln Ave in Schenectady, but officers have not been able to find the shooter, or find out if someone was actually shot. 

They got a call for shots fired Thursday morning and were able to recover a shell casing.

Anyone who may have witnessed anything is urged to give them a call.
