A fatal crash that killed two people in Warren County remains under investigation.

According to the Warren County Sheriff's office, the crash happened on State Route 8 in Chestertown late Sunday morning.

Deputies say Walter Christie was driving around a curve when he veered into oncoming traffic. That's when he hit a car driven by John Lewis. Both drivers were taken to Glens Falls Hospital, where they were pronounced dead.

A passenger, Ralph Lewis, was also taken to the hospital. He is believed to have non-life-threatening injuries.

The Warren County Sheriff's Office says alcohol and speed do not appear to be factors in this crash.
