Price Chopper says romaine lettuce is returning to store shelves as they begin to restock from the E-coil outbreak.

Starting Saturday, lettuce grown prodcuts from after November 23, from non-impacted harvests, will be sold.

Romaine products are now required to have labels that denote the growing area and time of harvest.

The CDC announced this week, the contamination was limited to romaine grown in six California counties. Due to this, the amount of romaine lettuce available in stores will be limited until production returns to normal levels.
