It's been a week now since 21-year-old Michaela MacVilla was last seen. Police are calling on the community, asking anyone with information to come forward to help find the St. Johnsville woman.

State Police have confirmed that they are searching a property on County Route 108 in St. Johnsville in connection to the disappearance of MacVilla. It's just one of many places authorities are looking. Police have also arrested a man who lives on that property, Daniel Nellis, on misdemeanor gun possesion charges that are unrelated to the search for MacVilla.

MacVilla was last seen just after midnight on September 25, leaving work at the Stewart’s shop on West Main Street, just several blocks away from her home. Police have set up a command center to run this investigation, as Michaela's family frantically searches for answers.

Michaela is 5-foot-4 with auburn hair, wears glasses, and has a nose piercing. The family is pleading that if you know anything at all, to speak up.

Michaela’s mother described this week as "absolute hell."

Michaela was last seen wearing a blue Aero hooded sweatshirt, maroon shirt, black pants and a Stewart’s Shop visor.

State Police continue their search, and ask for anyone with information to come forward.
