SPECTRUM NEWS VIDEO: County governments will take on the costs for many of the voting reforms passed in the legislature. For example, when it comes to early voting, there are concerns about additional costs associated with staffing and securing locations. The governor's office released a statement Thursday saying, quote: "The budget more than covers the cost of early voting by merging state and federal primaries to save counties $25 million and eliminating the internet tax advantage to ensure collection of sales taxes, delivering $390 million to local governments."
