The Fort Edward School District has dismissed early Wednesday and will shift to remote learning for at least 24 hours after learning "an attendee" of school facilities tested positive. There will be contact tracing and cleaning/disinfection of facilities. Further updates will come on the Fort Edward website.

Sunday, October 4

The Queensbury School District said it is temporarily moving to remote learning for one week after two more people in the school community tested positive for the coronavirus.

The district said one person from William H. Barton Intermediate School tested positive for COVID-19, plus one from Queensbury High School.

The earliest that students would return to in-person learning would be Tuesday, October 13. However, the district said it will send an update to families on Friday.

After two Hoosick Falls students tested positive, the school district will be moving to remote learning until Friday, October 9, with students and staff returning on Tuesday, Oct. 13.

Queensbury High School will move to remote learning for Friday as the school district does deep cleaning, disinfecting, and contact tracing. The high school will resume in-person learning on Monday, Oct. 5.
