A Pittsfield man has pleaded guilty to rape charges from 2016.

The Berkshire County District Attorney's Office says 28-year-old Julian Medina-Aviles pleaded guilty to rape and abuse of a child, posing or exhibiting a child in a sexual act and intimidating a witness.

They say the incidents happened in the city between February and November 2016.

Medina-Aviles has been sentenced to serve consecutive two- to three-year prison sentences.
