SPECTRUM NEWS VIDEO: Senate Republicans are holding consecutive joint hearings by the Committee on Crime Victims, Crime and Corrections and the Committee on Elections regarding the state parole board and the restoration of parolees' voting rights by the governor. Among other things, they're reviewing an executive order that in April, granted voting rights to more than 24,000 parolees, gifting them eligibility to participate in this year's election cycle. Liz Gaynes from the Osborne Association, a nonprofit that works with families involved in the criminal justice system, joins the show to talk more about the hearings.
