As we mentioned earlier, members of the U.S. Senate passed the Republican-backed tax reform bill over the weekend. It took some deal-making on behalf of GOP leaders to secure the 50 votes necessary to pass the measure. That included an agreement with Arizona senator Jeff Flake, who has been told he'll be a part of any discussions about the future of DACA. Meanwhile, many opponents of the bill say the reform plan will hurt immigrants and their families, whether they are documented or not.
