More than 30,000 people have signed a petition calling for a halt on construction of a gas pipeline near the Indian Point nuclear power plant. They say the original risk assessment was improperly done, and a new one is needed before the project goes forward. Tuesday, activists delivered the petition to the capitol to send a message to Governor Cuomo. Assemblywoman Sandy Galef, Paul Blanch, a nuclear engineer who previously worked at Indian Point, and Julia Walsh of Frack Action joined us to talk about the situation.
