With just four words, Erin Wilmot’s life changed forever.

She was diagnosed with stage 1A breast cancer after she found that one of her breasts was getting larger than the other. That day with the doctor is still crystal clear in her mind.

“We went in. It was, nobody was there," said Wilmot, a teacher’s assistant. "It was just her, she brought me in the back office. We sat there, she showed us everything, and I just broke down and I just cried and cried and cried and cried.”

After dealing with the initial shock, Wilmot had an impossible choice to make.
