Drier air will arrive this evening with any lake snow into the Southern Tier and Ski Country quickly tapering to flurries. Although snow will end, winds will keep blowing and drifting going late so visibility still may not be great. Overnight, expect partly cloudy skies and bitter cold temperatures falling into the lows teens.

Tomorrow will be quiet and seasonably chilly with highs in the low to mid 30s. Aside from a few early morning flurries, we’ll see partly cloudy and dry skies.  We’ll get back into milder temps on Friday with highs up in the mid 40s.  Highs will remain in the low to mid 40s Saturday but widespread rain showers will move in.  Sunday will be damp and chilly with rain switching over to wet snow showers.  Highs on Sunday will be in the mid to upper 30s.

Next week will begin quiet but by Tuesday early indications are pointing to our next high wind event moving in.
