Western New York will make the big screen once again, as filming for "A Quiet Place 2" kicked off Monday in Akron.

If you're in the area, NY Route 93 from Buffalo Street to Church Street will be closed to all traffic until July 25.

"We were looking for a town that looks like America and this town is a very, like, ‘straight down the middle, this is America right here’ — we love the town. It's tricky, just a bunch of people who haven't worked together working together for the first time, but so far things have gone very well,” said Brad Fuller, A Quiet Place 2 producer.

According to Empire State Development, the Paramount Pictures film is expected to hire more than 400 people in the area and invest more than $10 million into the regional economy.
