PORTLAND, OR-- A Niagara County native was killed in a head-on crash in Oregon, south of Portland.
Deanna Teaven, 35, from Middlesport died Tuesday ... Police there say she was a passenger in an SUV that was traveling the wrong way on I-5 around 12:30 A.M.
They say it crashed head-on into an oncoming semi.
Teaven died at the scene. The SUV's driver, Charles Jones, 39, was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
Police in Oregon think alcohol may have been a factor in the crash, but they're still investigating what happened.
