The Buffalo Bills were back on the practice field Wednesday afternoon getting ready for the Miami Dolphins, and so was Von Miller.

The edge rusher is coming off a four-game suspension for violating the NFL’s personal conduct policy. The NFL did not reveal the reason for the suspension.

Miller was accused last November of assaulting his pregnant girlfriend at their home outside Dallas during the Bills' bye week. He turned himself in to police after being accused of third-degree felony assault of a pregnant woman, which is punishable by two to 10 years in prison and a $10,000 fine.

The woman and Miller have been in a relationship for seven years and have two other children together.

Other players back out on the field were linebacker and captain Terrel Bernard, who was limited after missing last week's game, along with wide receiver Curtis Samuel.

Wideout Amari Cooper was not practicing and then did, and was limited with a wrist injury.

The Bills are back home Sunday at 1 p.m., looking for a season sweep of the Miami Dolphins and increasing their stranglehold on the AFC East.
