Western New Yorkers are representing the region in the Tokyo Summer Games. 

All times are in Eastern Standard Time.

Jessica Pegula will take the court in the first round of women’s singles in tennis at 10 p.m. on Friday. She will take on Switzerland’s Belinda Bencic.

Three-time Olympian from West Seneca, Matt Anderson, will take the court in men’s volleyball Saturday at 8:45 a.m. against France. He will play again Sunday at 10 p.m. and on the following dates:

  • Tuesday, July 27 - 10:05 p.m.
  • Thursday, July 29 - 10:05 p.m.
  • Sunday, August 1 - 8:45 a.m.

Naples’ Meghan Musnicki will compete in the women’s eight row on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. She's a two-time Olympic gold medalist.

Kenmore’s Anita Alvarez will compete Monday, August 2 in the artistic swimming preliminary round. That starts at 6:30 a.m. The 24-year-old is also competing in the Summer Games for a second time.

Jordan Nwora is playing for Nigeria's basketball team. Tip-off is Sunday at 4:20 a.m. against Australia, and 9 p.m. on Tuesday against Germany. Watch Nwora again on the following date:

  • Saturday, July 31 - 12:20 a.m.

August 7 is when you can catch Amherst’s Brian Irr who will compete in Karate. This is the first year the sport is in the games.
