White voiced his concerns on Wednesday, referencing how keeping his family, specifically his two young children, healthy was his top priority.

While most of the response on social media was in support of whatever decision White made, that wasn't the universal thought. White responding to that criticism on twitter earlier Thursday morning.

In the meantime, Josh Norman spoke with the local media for the first time since signing with the Bills in early March.

The cornerback said his relationship with head coach Sean McDermott and General Manager Brandon Beane played a part, as well as conversations he had with the likes of Jordan Poyer, Dean Marlowe, and former Bills safety Kurt Coleman all played a role in his decision to come to Buffalo.

But that was just part of Norman's reasons.

He comes to the Bills to compete with Levi Wallace for the starting cornerback spot opposite White. Norman lost his starting job at the tail end of his time in Washington, but still views himself as someone who can make a difference.

There are questions, though, as to whether Norman is past his prime. In his four years in Washington, he had seven interceptions and 43 pass break-ups. Last season Norman played in 12 games with eight starts, grabbing one interceptions with six PD. Some point to a poor fit in the Washington scheme, but Norman choosing not to rehash what went down in D.C.

Norman comes to the Bills where expectations are higher than they have been in maybe two decades. He is ready to help them continue to trend upwards and change how this organization is viewed around football.

Before Norman hopped on a Zoom call, Devin Singletary was in the hot seat. First and foremost, he said he is playing this season.

Singletary said he is ready to assume the role of Bills feature running back. At the same time, he is excited to have third round pick Zack Moss in the backfield with him. They both have south Florida roots and a style that Singletary feels will compliment each other well.

Rounding out the day, the team officially signed guard Brian Winters.

The Bills also activated rookie CB Dane Jackson from the Reserve/COVID list and released safety Garrett Taylor.
