The Buffalo Sabres have announced forward Patrik Berglund has been suspended indefinitely.

According to a statement released on Saturday, the 30-year-old veteran received his suspension after he failed to report to the team.

Berglund has two goals and two assists in 23 games for the Sabres. He was drafted in 25th overall in the 2006 NHL Draft by the St. Louis Blues.

The Sabres are in Washington to take on the Capitals Saturday night.
