Katherine Chloé Cahoon joined Spectrum News in September of 2019.

Originally from Seattle, Cahoon graduated from Vanderbilt University, in Nashville, with honors, earning a Bachelor of Science in International Media and Management. She worked as an anchor and reporter for a CBS affiliate in Wyoming’s Capitol City, receiving consecutive statewide awards for Best Breaking News. At the same time, she was a performing member of Ballet Wyoming.

Cahoon relocated to join the Spectrum News 1 family in Buffalo, where she has been a reporter and fill-in anchor. What she loves the most about reporting is being able to give a voice to those who often go unheard, uncovering hidden gems in the community, and connecting with viewers.

While covering football-fan stories for the Buffalo Bills last season, Cahoon was invited to join the Buffalo Mafia Babes, a prominent Bills’ fan club. It goes without saying that she is now a true Buffalonian.
