BUFFALO, N.Y. — Some local young people have a message they want to spread: "We can't wait for justice."

Students from Buffalo Public Schools joined community leaders Thursday night to discuss practical solutions for addressing social justice and equity in our communities.

The town hall event covered issues such as the impact of systemic racism, gun violence and recent high-profile deaths.

Some of the proposed solutions from the town hall are focused on unification over division, providing more training for police officers, more reform and clearer overall communication.
