Two kids were sent to the hospital Monday afternoon after being hit by a car in Niagara Falls.

Police say a 9-year-old girl and her 10-year-old brother were crossing Pine Avenue near 26th Street when they were hit. Police say one car had stopped to let them cross when they were hit by another car.

Both were taken to the hospital, and police say their injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.

There's no word if the 79-year-old driver will face charges. The incident is still under investigation.
