Town of Tonawanda Police are investigating what they say is a suspicious death. 

They say they found a 49-year-old woman dead in an apartment on Dumas Place in the Sheridan Parkside neighborhood around 9 p.m. Tuesday.

Police say there is no reason to believe there is a threat to the public.
