Erie County Distrct Attorney John Flynn has identified the Town of Tonawanda woman killed Tuesday as Renee Taschetta. 

The suspect in her death, Mario Turner Sr., 51, has been arraigned and faces charges of criminally negligent homicide and criminal possession of a weapon. 

Taschetta was found dead in an apartment on Dumas Place around 9 p.m. Tuesday. Police immediately called it a suspicious death. 

Turner is back in court Monday. If convicted on both charges, he could face a maximum of four years in prison.
