Spectrum has awarded a $15,000 grant to nonprofit VIA: Visually Impaired Advancement.
The money will be used to expand its training program for seniors who are visually impaired.
"I think that it's super important that we uplift agencies like VIA because when we're looking at people leading healthy and sustainable lives, it oftentimes includes technology, and technology is rapidly changing,” said Mitch Nowakowski, Fillmore District, Buffalo Common Council.
