Love it or hate it, the snow continues to pile up in parts of New York state.

Places south of Buffalo have seen more than 100 inches of snowfall this year with more on the way.

In downtown Fredonia, it’s business as usual for some like Amy Wyatt and Maeghan Viapiano as they took their lunch break.

“I’m a big skier,” said Wyatt. “When it's good, you got to go grab it. You know, take your mental health days, go up to Holiday Valley, get them skiing in that fresh powder.”

Wyatt has made the best of the consistent snow across the region.

Viapiano said it’s come with its obstacles like frozen pipes at home and extra work at the school she teaches at after snow days.

“It can be difficult when you have to change your curriculum or your instruction and lesson plans all the time,” she said. “So, it's been a little challenging, but the hardest part is getting out of my driveway after the snow. Luckily, my husband plows out for us, so we’re OK. But yeah, it's been crazy.”
