BUFFALO, N.Y. — Kevin Guest House in Buffalo is getting some help for the holidays.
For the ninth year, National Grid is decorating and installing new energy efficient lighting, while also helping the house with another project.
The Interior Design Association of Western New York is joining National Grid to install new decorations to celebrate the House's 50th anniversary.
Kevin Guest House was the first of its kind, an independent hospitality house founded by the Garvey family following the death of their son, Kevin.
The house gives patients and families somewhere to stay while they undergo treatment at nearby hospitals. It has served more than 61,000 guests since its opening.
