The Buffalo Bills are just five days away from hitting the field in Los Angeles for the NFL’s season opener against the Rams.
Excitement is brewing and Bills Mafia from far and wide will be in attendance out west.
The group Fans of Buffalo is hosting a tailgate in L.A. outside of SoFi Stadium.
Three thousand Bills fans are expected to be in attendance.
So what's on tap for the event?
Former Bills center Eric Wood, other former Bills players and actors from Buffalo are all expected to stop by.
And for those of you who are going to be thirsty, Fans of Buffalo is shipping 30,000 cans of Labatt beer products to Los Angeles just for the pre-game party. It's costing nearly $25,000.
"We basically met with them and said ‘we basically need containers worth shipped’ and they said ‘that's fine,’” Fans of Buffalo owner and founder Will Bradley said. “We will definitely help you out with that. They're basically going to park a refrigerator trailer right on the tailgate premises. We're just going to be pulling beer off of there. Probably by the end, I don't think that there will be much left on that truck."
"Fans of Buffalo" has also a chartered flight and will fly direct to and from L.A. out of the Buffalo Niagara International Airport.
It leaves Wednesday, Sept. 7 and flies back to Buffalo on Sept. 11.
With more than 170 seats purchased, the flight is nearly sold out.
Fans of Buffalo has events and transportation planned for six of the additional eight Bills road trips this season.
