Bills star quarterback Josh Allen has a new edition of his fan favorite cereal hitting store shelves.
Josh’s Jaqs first reach grocery shelves three years ago.
For every box sold, Allen donates a portion of the proceeds to Oishei Children's Hospital. Half a million boxes have been sold overall.
PLB Sports and Entertainment markets the cereal and has worked with former Bills QB Doug Flutie to create the famous Flutie Flakes.
The president of the company thinks Josh's Jaqs sales could overtake the popularity of Flutie Flakes over time.
"The Mount Rushmore of my cereals are Flutie Flakes, which I don't think anyone will ever catch that, maybe Josh will over time, that's 3 million,” Ty Ballou, president of PLB Sports and Entertainment, said. “I hate to even bring this name up, Patrick Mahomes, we did 900,000 boxes, and inching closer every single day is number 17 for your Buffalo Bills, Josh Allen."
The new, limited edition Josh's Jaqs are currently available at Wegmans locations, with Tops selling the product in the coming weeks.
PLB has also teased a new product also coming soon. That mystery item will be available exclusively at Wegmans prior to the Bills home opener against the Titans.
