While concerts are making their return to Buffalo, fans are sharing how they feel about abiding to vaccine mandates.

Country star Eric Church took the stage at KeyBank Center Saturday night, bringing packed crowds downtown. It's the first major concert at the arena under Erie County health mandates, requiring at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

Vaccines are required to attend events there or at Highmark Stadium, including the Bills game Sunday against the Washington Football Team. Some say they had friends who couldn't attend.

"Because they had COVID, and they feel they had antibodies, so they didn't get it and they could not come today," said one attendee.

"I personally think that it's a good idea, I work in the medical field, and I think it's safer for everyone if everybody's vaccinated," said another attendee.

"We had a bunch of friends who didn't come tonight because they didn't get vaccinated," said one couple.

"I'm glad they're trying to keep us safe but I think it's a little ridiculous, I'm not going to lie," said another concert-goer.

An important note, anyone hoping to visit KeyBank Center or Highmark Stadium will need to be fully vaccinated by Oct. 31.
