For anyone in crisis, help is just a text message away. The ability to text and chat with a hotline counselor is now available through Crisis Services’ hotline.
Monday through Friday, 6 p.m. to 11 p.m., anyone looking for help can connect with a Crisis Services counselor by sending a text to 716-300-2338 or by their computer via chat on the organizations website, crisisservices.org.
The Crisis Services hotline is easy to access and completely confidential.
Crisis Services officials hope to expand their digital support hours in the near future with some funding from the Highmark BlueCross BlueShield’s Blue Fund.
