BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Buffalo & Erie County Public Library is giving people something to do during the pandemic through its digital book checkouts.
The library reached more than 1 million E-book and E-audio book checkouts last year, setting a new record.
The library says its digital borrowing system works 24/7 for anyone with a valid library card.
If you're wondering what the top downloads were, the top 2 E-books were "Where the Crawdads Sing" by Delia Owens and "The Guardians" by John Grisham.
For E-audio books, it was "Becoming" by Michelle Obama and a classic, "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" by J-K Rowling.
