A little boy has a Western New York doctor to thank for saving his life.
The Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center says Dr. John Blundell was staying at a hotel in New Jersey, when he noticed a 3-year-old boy drowning in the shallow end of the pool.
Witnesses say that Dr. Blundell started CPR on the child, and managed to revive him just before paramedics got the scene on Saturday.
The boy was then taken to a nearby hospital where he was treated and released.
Dr. Blundell has been with the Medical Center since 2014.
