A University at Buffalo football player has been suspended from the team because of a recent arrest.

Dylan McDuffie, a running back for the Bulls, was arrested Saturday by university police on domestic violence charges. Under the university's Student Code of Conduct, McDuffie was suspended from the team.

Football coach Lance Leipold said “domestic violence will not be tolerated.”

McDuffie's case was turned over to local authorities for further action.

UB is set to play in the Bahamas Bowl in less than two weeks.
