The impeachment inquiry hearings are being watched and discussed in several government classrooms across Western New York.

Government students at Canisius High School watched history come to life Wednesday.

They got a front row seat to the day's testimony in the impeachment inquiry hearing of President Trump.

Students discussed the process as well as the key players involved.

With many just turning 18, seniors say events like the hearings make them better informed citizens and voters.

"By actually doing research and watching things like this, I'm actually able to come up with valid reasonable opinions. And I'm actually able to say something that will have an impact," said Matthew Bonnette, Canisius High School senior.

Wolf says the class will watch and follow the process through its conclusion.
