The new school year is quickly approaching, and if the kids have outgrown their clothes from last year, buying new ones can add up.

But this weekend at Bella Kids Pop Up Consignment Shop in the Transitown Plaza, parents can get everything they need without breaking the bank.

No matter the age or size, there are plenty of boys’ and girls’ clothing and shoes, all in good condition, at reasonable prices – and every purchase helps area charities.

Consignors make a profit for the items they’ve sold. Each year, Bella Kids designates a charity to receive benefits from their pop-up sales. This year’s recipient is Make a Wish of Western New York, an organization that is especially important for the founder, Kristi Mora, whose daughter granted a wish.

“It’s extra special for me because there’s such that connection and I saw what an impact that wish had on her and her health and her outlook on her illness and I want to be able to help them grant someone else a wish,” she said.

The sale runs 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and on Sunday.

Anything left from the sale is donated to Harvest House, St. Gianna’s Pregnancy Outreach Center and the Teacher’s Desk, and distributed to those in need in Buffalo.
