Pro and anti-Trump rallies clashed at Colonial Circle in Buffalo on Sunday.

Large crowds of people came out to voice their concerns on several hot topics, including immigration. While some cheered for President Trump to be re-elected, others demanded he be impeached.

"I’m very concerned about the rising fascism and racism in this country," Victoria Ross, an anti-Trump protestor said. "I’m also concerned about people inciting other people to violence. I want to make sure people are safe and that includes everybody."

“We just came out here to show our love for our president, our community and all people in that community and to show that we can come out here and show love for our president and that we’re peaceful," Amy Marino, a pro-Trump protestor added.

While there were some verbal clashes, both rallies ended peacefully. A line of police officers, holding batons and zip tie handcuffs, kept the two groups divided so it didn't turn violent.

Ahead of the protests Sunday Anti-Trump rally organizer, Nate McMurray and pro-Trump activist, Russ Thompson shook hands. They say this was their way to agree to respectfully disagree with one another's opinions.

"I was hoping that Buffalo could set an example for the rest of the country, you know to maybe send a message to the leadership in Washington," said Russ Thompson.
