The Tonawanda man accused of setting his former girlfriend on fire late last year will not be let out on bail.
A state Supreme Court judge ruled Wednesday that Jonathan White, 28, should remain in custody until his trial. Prosecutors said he lured Jessica Cameron to meet him outside the Tim Hortons on Niagara Street in Tonawanda on December 17.
He then doused her in a flammable liquid and lit her on fire.
She was so badly burned she’s still receiving treatment. He was also injured.
White faces attempted murder and assault charges.
He's due back in court on April 15.
