Albright Knox is welcoming the community’s opinion on its proposed expansion.
The proposed $155 million project is called AK 360 and includes a major expansion to the museum, creating more gallery space, classrooms and making the experience more accessible to everyone.
"We're also planning a space in the 1962 wing that our Board of Directors envisions as free to the public,” said Jillian Jones, the museum’s director of advancement. “A space where our community can come and share ideas about art and people and it's a way for them to connect as a community."
Albright Knox has posted a survey on its website in which anyone can share their thoughts and suggestions for the museum’s expansion.
Construction is expected to begin later this year and is anticipated to be completed by late 2021.
