Buffalo Democrats have endorsed their candidate for city comptroller.
County Legislator Barbara Miller-Williams won the endorsement at a nominating meeting Monday evening.
The executive committee selected Miller-Williams over at least three other Democrats.
Miller-Williams is a U.S. Army veteran who currently represents the First Legislative District.
The previous comptroller, Mark Schroeder, left in December to become the state’s DMV commissioner.
