The fifth annual Ice Festival in Larkinville rolled on Saturday with plenty of family friendly activities.
There was everything from alpacas to horse carriage rides and tons of food and beverage vendors. Organizers say it's a great way to get people out during the winter months.
"So many people associate us with the warm weather months like food trucks and things like that. So, we wanted to have a chance to showcase an urban fun winter place to go,” said Larkin Square Director, Leslie Zemsky. “So we put heat on our boardwalk, we have a wonderful vendor market. You can make your own hot chocolate stand. Some craft activities for the kids. We have the ice sculpture behind us, filling stations open.”
The festival was presented by KeyBank and sponsored by Independent Health.
