A Buffalo man was rescued from a plow truck shortly after it caught fire Sunday morning. The driver, Sal Sciria, is now trying to identify the Good Samaritans that saved his life.

Video sent to Spectrum News by a viewer showed the plow truck entirely engulfed in flames at the corner of Tacoma Avenue and Welllington Road.

Sciria said he had no idea something was wrong with the truck until the BMHA workers told him liquid flames were coming from underneath the vehicle.

Before the car completely filled up with smoke and caught fire, the two men pulled Sciria, who is disabled, out to safety.

"I thanked them very much," Sciria said. "They're a godsend. Everything happens for a reason, [like] them [being] here at that time."

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
